Please read all the below information fully and carefully.
We are so excited to see you all this December! However, since safety will always be our top priority, we have been working hard to create a space that will be safe, while still maintaining the fun and festivity that we all know and love about Christmas Con!
Below are the COVID-19 policies that we will have in place for the December show. Policies are subject to change.
Needed for Entry:
Because we want everyone to feel comfortable and feel safe while enjoying the convention, we have decided to require a negative COVID-19 test OR proof of vaccination for entry into Christmas Con NJ 2021.
For those who are fully vaccinated, you will need to bring proof of vaccination, along with a valid ID in order to gain entry to Christmas Con. You can bring the physical card, a printed copy or digital copy of the card. You will only have to show this on your first day of entry.
For those who are not vaccinated or are only partially vaccinated, you will need to provide a negative Covid-19 test, within 24 hours (for rapid test) or 72 hours (for standard PCR test) before your first date of entry into Christmas Con. It can either be a rapid antigen test, or a standard/rapid PCR test. You will only need to show proof of negative test on your first day of entry into Christmas Con. This includes kids under 12 that are not eligible for the vaccine.
Alternatively, you CAN use a Rapid COVID-19 test kit, however, you must bring the kit to the Convention Center and it must be taken in-person in our private area. This will be located right in the main lobby.
NOTE: If you receive a positive COVID-19 test on-site, you will not be permitted to attend. No refunds will be given, however, if you do get a positive test result on site, we be able to switch your ticket to next years Christmas Con, or one of our other shows.
Additional Measures and Procedures:
Photo Ops and Selfies – Photos will NOT be taken with masks. There will also be NO plexiglass for professional photo ops. Depending on each Celebrity Guest’s comfort level, if social distancing is requested in professional photo ops, we have a fun and festive solution. Again, this will NOT be plexiglass.
This year we have the entire building of the NJ Expo Center, that is nearly 3 times the space that we had in 2019! We have taken special care making our floor plan, to ensure plenty of space for lines and general walking space. This will ensure that everyone can have personal space around them.
Additional sanitizer stations will be placed throughout the convention floor. We also will have access to many more bathrooms this year, so we highly encourage hand washing.
At this time, NJ is NOT requiring a mask mandate. While we do highly recommend wearing a mask while on lines and in crowded areas of the show floor, we will not be requiring them at this time. We encourage you to follow your best judgement to protect yourself and those around you. As we are still many months away from the show, we will continue to follow the local guidelines as we get closer to the show.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you are feeling ill, please do NOT attend.
We are all looking to have a safe and enjoyable event!
*Note: Should city/state/federal COVID mandates at the time of the convention require additional restrictions, we will be following their protocols.
If you no longer wish to attend Christmas Con 2021, we will be partnering with the resell company Lyte next month. You will be able to sell your tickets there. If your ticket for some reason does not sell by the time of the show, we will give you the option to roll your ticket into next year’s NJ show or one of our other shows. (You will need to show proof that you listed your ticket and it did not sell.)
By attending Christmas Con, you understand and expressly acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. In attending the event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and waive, release, and discharge That’s4Entertainment, LLC; or any of its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers from any and all liability under any theory, whether in negligence or otherwise, for any illness or injury.
