Actor and musician Paul Greene’s life is defined by fatherhood, fitness, faith and family.
Whether it’s the release of his new album Freedom For Your Soul, writing his upcoming paradigm-shifting parenting book, or starring as “Dr. Carson Shepherd” in season 7 on the ratings-juggernaut Hallmark Channel series When Calls the Heart, he knows how to enjoy life to the fullest.
Born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada, Greene grew up on a acreage and learned first hand the importance faith, good work, nature and family. At red deer college on a volleyball scholarship, Paul was discovered by renowned modelling agent Kelly Streit, started his modeling career at age 19 and immediately became an international success featured on magazine covers and representing blockbuster brands like Tommy Hilfiger, J. Crew, Levi's,Men's health, Armani, Saks Fifth avenue among hundreds of others.
Throughout his 20s, Paul invested time between New York , Paris, London, Milan, and Japan studying, cooking,language,aviation & then acting at Uta Hagen, Stella Adler studios and with Susan Batson to dimensionalize his career. The call of acting led to a family move to Los Angeles where Paul garnered success with David E Kelly’s- Wedding bells, Sofia Coppola’s feature film Somewhere, series regular and guest spots on dozens of TV shows including NCIS, CSI, The Newsroom, Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, and Bitten, just to name a few. Paul was Named the “Cary Grant” of the Hallmark Channel, his success on When Calls the Heart has gained the high-praise leading to starring roles in several films as a consistent presence on the growing network.
Paul enjoys flying planes, camping, being a dad and being engaged. He stays fit and finds joy in helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. With a deep passion for music, he expresses his creativity by singing and songwriting and is privileged to perform annually at Carnegie Hall in support of autism awareness. Paul, who lost his father to ALS, has made a commitment to raising funds and awareness to fight the disease. Paul lives in Los Angeles.
